Department of Jobs and Small Business Proposes Occupation List Changes
Occupation Lists for Skilled Migration
The Migration Institute of Australia (MIA) has just posted important information from the Department of Jobs and Small Business regarding a “Traffic Light Bulletin on proposed changes to occupations listed on the Short-Term Skilled Occupation List, the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List and the Regional Occupation List. These lists underpin a range of employer-sponsored, points-tested and state-nominated visa programs.” Source MIA.
Please note that these are only proposed changes, no decisions have been made, and the government is asking for feedback (until June 20, 2018) regarding these proposals. Occupations not in this bulletin have not been proposed for change. Agricultural Consultant
Civil Engineering Technician
From STSOL OCCUPATIONS FOR POSSIBLE MOVE TO MLTSSL:
Footballer
From OCCUPATIONS FOR POSSIBLE MOVEMENT FROM STSOL TO REGIONAL OCCUPATIONS LIST (ROL):
Dentist
Anaesthetist
